D8 DISCOVER/GADDS
This course applies to users of the D8 DISCOVER with GADDS X-ray diffraction system. Participants will receive four days of intensive training on the fundamentals of X-ray diffraction, familiarizing users with the basics of the system operation, safety, required maintenance, sample preparation and alignment, analysis and measurement software and applications. This course is designed for novice users. It is a hands-on training and is intended to provide practical experience in handling the X-ray diffractometer.
The hardware training will be performed primarily on a D8 DISCOVER system with a recent version of GADDS software. Because each course will be tailored to the individual registrants’ applications, participants are encouraged to contact the course instructor in advance for more information or to convey specific requests on applications to be covered. Participants are encouraged to bring samples or example data with them. No other materials are required.
