D4 ENDEAVOR Maintenance Training
The intent of this course is to provide knowledge on the maintenance and troubleshooting of the D4 ENDEAVOR X-ray diffractometer. Step by step, you will receive the know-how needed to maintain the system in its optimum condition. You will become able to recognize malfunctions and to treat them. It will then be possible to plan service activities more effectively. The main focus is on using the diagnostic software D4TOOLS.
Furthermore, you are encouraged to bring your questions, problems, practical examples, and experiences to the course. The training will be held in English or German. Topics:
- Overview of the D4 ENDEAVOR Series II
- Maintenance in power supply, water supply, sample handler and goniometer
- Introduction to the safety system and generator
- Replacement of X-ray tube
- Performing configuration changes, basic alignment and detector calibration
- Alignment of Bragg-Brentano focusing geometry
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting with DIFFRACplus software D4TOOLS
